I've learned a lot through my research in the past week. It hasn't been easy sifting through the much-too-general and/or hyper-specific papers that I came across since I am not yet at the level where they would be beneficial for me.

However, after a good deal of effort, I was able to find a paper that was at the exact level that I could understand and learned a lot about the types of machine learning algorithms and their advantages and disadvantages.
This has gotten me thinking, how should I start learning how to make machine learning models of my own?

I know that to apply the research that I've done so far in my original work or final product, I will probably need to create a machine learning model of my own to demonstrate my new knowledge. However, I realize that it would be wise to start slow with this because jumping into complex algorithms too quickly may make it harder for me to fully master these concepts.
My professional network has continued to expand as well. Even though it is still quite small, at

17 connections, I know that every new connection helps unlock even more connections, allowing me to extend my circle even farther. This will prove to be vital as I start looking for interviews to learn more about the intricacies of my subject matter from a professional in the field. I'm looking forward to these opportunities to not only expand my knowledge but also gain a better understanding of the best fit for me within the field of computer science. To these ends, I am confident that the coming experiences in ISM are going to be some that could give me a launchpad for my career in the future.
The fun is just beginning!
