Biography
I am currently in my senior year at Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas. In terms of professional experience, I have worked as a writer for DemiDec Corp, a company that selects employees from all over the country to write study materials for students participating in the United States Academic Decathlon competitions. My relevant experience for my topic this year, computer science, comes largely from my school courses. I have taken three years of intensive computer science courses so far during my education and am now proficient in Java, with an understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles. I have also participated in various coding competitions to continue expanding my experience and proficiency with Java.

In my personal life, I tend to use as much creativity as possible throughout my day. I love to play the trumpet and am a drum major in the Frisco High School Marching Band. I also enjoy drawing, playing very amateur-piano, reading and spending time with my family and dog.
Mission Statement
Through my journey in ISM, I aim to deepen my understanding of computer science while developing my professional skills and contacts throughout my study. In the course of my research and mentorship, I will explore the physical applications of computer science in order to create a final product that reflects the dedication, creativity, and knowledge that has been poured into it throughout the year. In this way, I hope to craft my skills and gain experience for the betterment of myself and my community.
